fairy tales are royalty free, right?

i want to do a fairy tale series where i re-imagine lesser known stories. playing with colors. this is a prince who was under the spell of a gnome turning him into a bear. when he kills the gnome, he turns back into a prince.

i'd never heard of it either. it's called "snow white and rose red." i think i changed it enough so that i can call it my own, but i'll credit the brothers grimm anyway. it's something i'd feel guilty earning money off of though.

I think I remember this story; they played it on Nickelodean when I was a kid. Some of the first dubbed anime that I had seen (well, after Flower Angel), especially on a major TV network. I remember cheering when the bear splatted the gnome. :XD:
